   THE CRS COMMPOSTER….

Update on our Website

www.canadianrosesociety.org

Improvements to our website are progressing as planned.  You can now access the current and all past issues of the CommPoster via the website.  Just click on “Newsletter” in the left-hand navigation bar or on the new “Newsletter” icon on the home page.  Then select the issue you want and it will appear as a PDF file that you can download, print or browse.

In the future we anticipate that this feature will only be available to members of the CRS via a password.  But for the next few months we are going to use it to give non-members a closer look at the CRS, and so anyone visiting our website can access it.

Our homepage now has icons across the bottom to take you to timely and topical information.  At the moment, you can access the schedule for the 2004 National Rose Show and enjoy photos from the presentation to the Montreal Botanical Garden of the World Federation of Rose Societies Award of Garden Excellence.

Other enhancements will be coming in the near future, and our website will become more and more important as a means of communicating with you.

Editor's note: This is a long newsletter due to irregular articles. The next publication at the end of August, will be between 4 to 8 pages. Future news letters will not be e-mailed.  They will be available to you on our web site
