Photos of George Mander’s
Roses
George Mander of Cocquitlam,
B.C. is one of Canada’s
most successful rose hybridizers. Since he started hybridizing in
1969, George has produced many widely acclaimed varieties, including
‘Canadian White Star’ and ‘Glowing Amber’.
Now you can see excellent photos of his roses, including newly released
and about-to-be released varieties on the Help Me Find website. The
easiest way to get there is to:
Go to George’s
website http://www3.telus.net/georgemander
Click on *Updated*Rose Gallery
And there you'll find
a direct link to his roses in alphabetical order, and also a direct
link to his thumbnail gallery on HelpMeFind,
with over 100 images
These photos were all taken and uploaded by George himself.
Congratulations George on a great job. And
congratulations also on the Canadian stamp featuring ‘Canadian White Star’
being chosen in Paris as the “Most Beautiful
Stamp” in the Americas
and the “Third Best” stamp in the world. Add to that the fact
that ‘Glowing Amber’ was ranked #5 on the latest Top List of Minis in the U.S.
and it is evident that George is having a great year and getting much,
well-deserved recognition.
