CRS National Photography Contest

In celebration of the Canadian Rose Society’s 50th anniversary, we’ve expanded the national photography contest.  Whether you love to take photographs or you are a novice, whether you shoot slide, print or digital, people of all ages can have fun with each category.   The purpose of this contest isn’t necessarily to capture the perfect show rose, but rather the essence of the category.  If you are not sure how to take a good “photograph,” there are some great resource books and websites.  Take your time and have fun with whatever category(s) that you enter.  A detailed list of rules and regulations can be found on the CRS’s website.  If you don’t own a camera, don’t shy away from this contest, as disposable cameras can take great photos and often the film’s developing is incorporated into the camera’s price.  The winning photos will be featured on our website as well as becoming part of a traveling exhibition that will be made available to all of our chapters as well as horticultural centres.  Good luck and start snapping!
